TENDERFOOT TREK    

*Adults…$125   *Child 4-11….$62.50   *Child 3 & under…free

  • Short & sweet, this trek is recommended for all ages.

  • Approximately 6 miles total

  • Guests will spend approximately 1 hour on trail.

  • Return to the dogsled office at approximately 12-1pm (includes transportation, set-up & take down time).

YUKON TREK

*Adults…$250     *Child 4-11…$125

  • Most Popular Trek

  •  10 mile round trip

  • Includes hot drinks & picnic lunch (French onion soup, homemade bread, meat & chesse tray, veggie tray, & cookies) served on trail.

  • Recommended for ages 4 & up.

  • Return to the dogsled office at approximately 2:30-3pm (includes transportation, set-up & take down time).

DENALI TREK    

*Adults….$450

  • 18 mile

  • Full day trek

  • Recommended only for the most adventurous adults.

  • Steak & Trout are grilled and served on trail in addition to hot drinks & picnic lunch.

  • Return to dogsled office approximately between 5-6pm (includes transportation, set-up & take down time).

  • Limit 3 adults.

  • Cameras and Go-Pro’s are highly encouraged, however, Absaroka Dogsled Treks is not responsible for any damage to any personal items incurred while dog sledding.

  • We provide traditional and tandem sleds, handcrafted from white ash.  Before each trek, guests listen to a brief “Mushing 101” presentation to learn dog sledding terms and techniques.  Guides transport guests to the trailhead (an approximate 15-20 minute drive) where they go over more riding & driving procedures before proceeding down the trail.  Guides are positioned on every other sled, and are certified in CPR & First Aid.
